Originally from North Carolina, Brian was a Park Scholar at North Carolina State University from 2007 - 2012 where he double majored and graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biological Sciences: Ecology, Evolution and Conservation Biology and a B.A. in International Cultural Studies. While at NC State, Brian spent a semester abroad in Ecuador with the Ceiba Foundation for Tropical Conservation studying tropical ecology and conservation.
Brian then spent 6 years in Washington, D.C. working at The ICCF Group, progressing from Program Officer to Chief of Staff in three years. As Chief of Staff from 2016 - 2019 at The ICCF Group, Brian managed an office of 30 staff implement The ICCF Group’s programs with parliamentary conservation caucuses in the United States, Africa and Latin America.
In 2020, Brian completed a Masters of Business Administration (MBA), concentrating in Strategy at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.
